RoboDemo partners traveled back to Ireland

AIM Centre was delighted to welcome the NPA RoboDemo partners to Sligo this week for a packed and productive visit! We kicked things off with a tour of the AIM Centre and the labs, where we had fun testing out The Duck Line in action, before sitting down to discuss the next steps of the project. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a scenic boat trip around Lough Gill on the Isle of Innisfree and a guided tour of the historic Parkes Castle in Co. Leitrim. On the second day, Bernie Butler, Founder & Managing Director of local SME Good4U, shared their involvement and positive outcomes in the RoboDemo project so far, adding valuable insights to the partner discussions. Afterwards we embarked on a trip to Strandhill for some hearty Irish "pub grub" and a brisk (and rainy) walk along the seafront watching the brave surfers! The team at AIM were delighted to welcome the partners to Sligo, as we explored the similarities and challenges across our regions - which we hope to overcome through our collaborative Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic projects! Thanks to RoboDemo partners who joined us at AIM Centre from Centria University of Applied Sciences and UiT- The Arctic University of Norway.
