To review and improve the current practices of house building technologies for buildings located in the region with regards to better withstand impact from future climatical changes.

To encompasses the assessments of building construction practices, energy performance, and indoor environment in the NPA regions affected by a challenging climate and future climate change, including increased temperatures and extreme weather events.

The study results would provide strategies and recommendation to equip the buildings in NPA regions to be resilient, with optimal indoor environment and also energy efficient while meeting the climate change.

The objective is to create sustainable, resilient, culturally sensitive, and energy-efficient buildings that can thrive in the unique environmental and socio-cultural context of the Northern Periphery and Arctic regions.
