Regional workshops for upskilling took place recently in Ireland!
The large crowd in attendance gained valuable insights around funding for green investments through Local Enterprise Office Mayo and Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland, Dark Sky tourism opportunities, and the ambitious plans for the Joyce Country and Western Lakes Geopark Project to become the fourth UNECSO Global Geopark in Ireland.
County Mayo is home to two Dark Skies initiatives, Mayo Dark Sky Park Wild Nephin National Park - Páirc Náisiúnta Néifinne FiáineNephin) and Glow 2.0 (Údarás na Gaeltachta and WestBIC).
