Welcome to the STELLA CAELUM event in Utsjoki on 7.10.2025! We will turn the map upside down and look at the world from space and from the North. STELLA CAELUM is a new northern event about night sky phenomena, Aurora tourism and the possibilities of darkness. The day will provide an opportunity to dive into the wonders of the northern skies. You can listen the thoughts of experts and professionals in the fields of astronomy, space science and Northern Lights tourism on the future possibilities of exploiting and experiencing the uniqueness of dark time. Darkness is an entrepreneur’s trusted partner and a restorative human resource – it always arrives on time! Additionally, you will have the chance to network, share ideas, and later in the evening participate in a moonlit walk under the night sky with our star guides. The evening’s musical experience will be provided by local Sámi music superstar Hildá Länsman, known for her proud preservation of Sámi culture and joik traditions. The experience of the event can only be truly felt by attending on-site. The event is free of charge for all participants but registration mandatory. Register and reserve your front-row spot! STELLA CAELUM is an unforgettable opportunity to enjoy the wonders of the northern sky and learn more about the world of stars. The day will be hosted by Jari Mäkinen, and a keynote speech will be given by Esko Valtaoja. The experience of the event can only be truly felt by attending on-site.
