STEM Húsavík
STEM Húsavík is the first STEM Learning Ecosystem in Iceland. Its aim is to empower residents and build skills by connecting diverse resources, nature and the community. STEM Húsavík is part of the International movement of STEM Learning Ecosystems. Since 2015, the STEM Learning Ecosystems Initiative has cultivated and supported local, regional and state STEM Learning Ecosystems from across the globe. The initiative is designed for communities to become active members within a national network of their peers and STEM leaders.
LUMA Center Finland
LUMA is a science education network of Finnish universities. Its aim is to inspire and motivate children and youth into mathematics, science and technology (STEM). To achieve their goal, they develop new methods and activities of science and technology education based on research. Furthermore, they support the life-long learning of teachers working on all levels of education from the early childhood to universities, and strengthen the development of research-based teaching.
